Overview

Search results presented on the search results page are based on the following:

  • Page title
  • Page keywords (See Meta Data tab in pages)
  • Page description (See Meta Data tab in pages)
  • Page content (usually title and text content from components in the page)

Dynamic content (content that is not from Magnolia itself, such as API-fetched content) is not searched.

Search result item contains:

  • Page title
  • URL to the page
  • Keywords (if any)
    • Matched keywords are highlighted
    • Other keywords are not
  • Text snippets (if any)
    • Searched text is highlighted
